Hearts are set for talks with Kyle Lafferty this week over a move back to Scotland.
According to the Daily Record, Hearts have placed Lafferty at the top of their wishlist and are planning to have contract talks with the forward later on this week.
The report claims that Lafferty would become Hearts’ highest paid player if he accepts their offer.
Lafferty will be a free agent this summer after Norwich announced that he would not be offered an extension on his contract, despite the club having the option of an extra year.

Norwich announced that seven first-team players will be leaving the club at the end of the month.
Ryan Bennett, Sebastien Bassong, John Ruddy, Yousouf Mulumbu, Michael Turner and Steven Whittaker were the other players named.
It is also claimed that Lafferty wanted a move to Rangers but the Scottish giants opted for other targets.
Lafferty played just 39 games in three years for Norwich, scoring four times. His lack of game-time bemused a section of the Norwich support, especially with Cameron Jerome’s failings in the 2015/16 Premier League season.
