Norwich City midfielder Steven Naismith has spoken of his excitement ahead of next season after the club appointed Daniel Farke as head coach.
The Canaries announced Farke as the club’s first ever foreign boss towards the end of May, also confirming the signing of Marley Watkins from Barnsley on June 1st.
And Naismith says he is excited for next season under Farke as he looks to learn from the German head coach.
Speaking to The BBC, Naismith said:
They changed the manager and, looking forward, it’s going to be really exciting.

As you get older, it’s all about routine and playing, so that’s when you do need to think about playing more.
I’ve got two years left of my contract there, I still think I can contribute massively and help the club get to where they want to be, and we’ll see how it goes in pre-season.
You’ve got a new manager, a German, so it’s something new for me.
I’m hoping to learn lots from him.
Naismith, currently on Scotland duty, is yet to meet Farke but will be returning to pre-season training later this month as Norwich prepare for next season in the Championship.
Despite being tipped to leave Norwich in both transfer windows last season, Naismith played 35 games for the club – scoring seven goals in the process.
The 30-year-old has, again, been linked with a transfer away from Norwich this forthcoming window, with Norwich reportedly looking to reduce the wage bill.
