Norwich join the race to sign Sean Raggett

Norwich will be looking to revamp their squad in the summer to put them in a position to compete for the promotion places in the Championship next season to regain their place in the Premier League.

Defensively, the Canaries have not been strong enough or consistent enough to see them through trickier ties and they’re looking to address that.

Rob Butler of BBC Radio Norfolk claims that Norwich have joined the race to sign highly-rated Lincoln City centre-back Sean Raggett.

Raggett rose to prominence this season playing a starring role in Lincoln’s league success as they won the Vanarama National League, securing promotion back to the Football League, but also was a key figure in the Imps’ run to the FA Cup quarter-final, including scoring the winner away at Burnley in the fifth round.

Norwich aren’t alone in their interest as West Ham have seen a £125,000 bid turned down by Lincoln for the 23-year-old, while both Peterborough and Oxford United have seen offers in the region of £250,000 rejected.
