Norwich City have offered Daniel Farke a two-year deal to become the new head coach of the club.
According to PA journalist Nick Mashiter, Norwich have been in talks with Farke in Germany recently and the club have offered a two-year contract.
This confirms reports that sporting director Stuart Webber was on the lookout for a German manager, as he follows the same path he took to take David Wagner to Huddersfield.
Twitter: Believe it’s a two-year deal for Farke at #ncfc. It’s been brewing for a bit, understand been talks in Germany recently. (@nickmashiter)
Farke replaced Wagner as Dortmund II’s manager when Huddersfield snatched him two years ago, with Webber back to bring Farke to Norwich.
The 40-year-old led his side to a 2nd-placed finish this season, impressing the powers that be at Carrow Road.
He will become the first foreign boss Norwich have ever had in their history, and will be tasked with gaining promotion to the Premier League in his first Championship job.
