Norwich will be undergoing a major squad overhaul in the summer to get the team back into a competitive enough shape to compete for promotion back to the Premier League next season.
In doing so, the club have already announced that several players will be leaving the club once their contracts expire in June and one of the players on the way out is Ryan Bennett.
The centre-back joined the Canaries from Peterborough in January 2012 and has spent the last five years with the club but will be on the lookout for a new employer in the summer.
According to the Daily Mail, Brighton are interested in bringing the former Grimsby standout to the south coast to aid their Premier League survival bid next season.
Bennett has been linked with Middlesbrough, Swansea and Hull in the past and will be one of Chris Hughton’s top targets by virtue of the Premier League experience he has under his belt.
The 27-year-old started 23 Championship games for Norwich this past season.
