Norwich City announced earlier today that John Ruddy, and six other first-team players, will be leaving the club this summer.
The seven out-of-contract players will not be having their contracts renewed and will be looking for new clubs come July 1st.
One of those was Ruddy, who will leave the club after seven years and over 200 appearances for the Canaries.
Ruddy did have a clause in his contract that allowed the club to extend his deal by a further year, however new sporting director Stuart Webber decided not to exercise that option.
Webber has clearly not been impressed by Ruddy, who has been heavily criticised for his performances over the last two seasons.
The former England international was dropped for Declan Rudd in the Premier League last season, and dropped twice for Michael McGovern this season in the Championship.
But were Norwich right to let him go? We want to know what you think so drop a vote down below!
