Norwich City travel away to face Leeds United in the Championship at Elland Road this weekend.
The Canaries have little to play for now in the final two matches, with eighth being the highest they can finish – and currently occupying it.
However, they could be buoyed by the idea of ending Leeds’ season this Saturday. A win for Norwich would essentially end their opponents chances of finishing in the play-offs and see them finish seventh.
This is a notion that would be welcome to many Norwich fans, who appear to have created a rivalry out of nothing with the Yorkshire.
Maybe it stems from the many Leeds players who Norwich have pinched over the years, who knows.
What we do know is that a Norwich win would be very welcome in Sheffield and Fulham this week.
