Norwich team news: Brighton (H)

Norwich City caretaker manager Alan Irvine has handed out the latest squad news ahead of his side’s clash with Brighton on Friday night in the Championship.

Brighton have the chance to seal the Championship title at Carrow Road, they only need a point to celebrate winning the league.

The Canaries will be out to stop that, but will be without central defender Timm Klose.

Irvine has confirmed, as he did last week, that Klose will miss the match with injury. This was after he went off injured against Fulham last Friday.

Speaking to Norwich’s website, Irvine said this:

Timm won’t be fit but he’s making progress and I expect we’ll see him before the end of the season.

There was some good news though, with Irvine confirming that Wes Hoolahan is back in contention after sitting out the win over Preston.

Wes is available.

The agreement with Wes before the Reading game was that we’d get him out there for two games and then give him a breather.

Alex Tettey also say out at Preston, but has returned to training this week and could feature against the Albion.

Matt Jarvis and Louis Thompson remained sidelined for the foreseeable future.
