Mitchell Dijks has been a big hit at Carrow Road since his January loan move from Ajax and there has been a lot of talk about extending his stay.
While the loan deal does include a purchasing option, it’s still unknown whether Norwich will exercise that option at the end of the season.
The left-back has expressed how he is enjoying his time with the Canaries in the Championship and how he would like to stay there permanently but is happy just to be playing again after suspension.
“Finally I am back, I think three games [suspended] was a lot for me, I was a little bit frustrated but finally I am back and we beat them 7-1. It was unbelievable and it was great to be back on the pitch.”
When asked about possibly staying at the club, Dijks reveals his agent is set for talks with Norwich to decide that.
“Next week my agent has an appointment for a meeting with Stuart and we shall see.
“I’m enjoying it [life in Norwich]. I now have a place in the city centre, I love that, a bit quiet but that’s okay for me and the players have been kind to me.
“I love to be on the pitch and I play here and that’s the important thing. Ben Godfrey has helped me, I go with him to London and other things and that’s great.”
