Norwich City have reached a settlement with Huddersfield over the signing of Stuart Webber, who was the club’s director of football.
According to ITV, Norwich have now come to an agreement with the Yorkshire club and Webber will join the club in due course.
The Canaries have settled a compensation fee with Huddersfield for Webber, who has been placed on garden leave.
Norwich have decided to scrap their previous system of having a manager and a chief executive – now moving to a sporting director and head coach.
This comes after Norwich lost two CEO’s in the last year; David McNally and Jez Moxey both left their roles in the club and the board have decided to act.
They started by sacking Alex Neil as manager two weeks ago, with Alan Irvine currently taking caretaker charge.
Webber now looks set to take over as the club’s new sporting director and his first task will be to identify a new head coach for the club in the coming weeks before next season.
