Despite reports this morning distancing Alan Pardew from the Norwich job, Sky Sports claim that the former Crystal Palace manager wants talks with the club.
BBC Norfolk claimed this morning that Pardew was not in the running for the Norwich manager position, despite reports over the weekend that he was set to take the role.
However, Sky Sports are now reporting that Pardew is keen to have talks with Norwich – although he is yet to be approached by Delia Smith and co.
Norwich are currently looking for a manager after they sacked Alex Neil last week with the club sitting ninth in the Championship table.
Alan Irvine is currently caretaker manager but has said that he will not be throwing his name into the ring, despite having previously managed West Brom in the Premier League.
Pardew is said to want talks with Norwich to seize up their ambitions on getting back to the Premier League, where he was managing Palace earlier this season.
