Pardew lined up for Norwich job

Former Crystal Palace manager Alan Pardew is being lined up as the next Norwich manager.

This comes following the departure of Alex Neil, who has been sacked following a poor run of form.

According to The Telegraph, Norwich are eyeing up a move to bring in Pardew as their new manager as they look to sneak into the play-off positions.

Norwich currently sit 8th in the Championship and are nine points off the play-offs are present, having won just one of their last seven league outings under Neil.

Consequently, the Norwich board decided time was up for the Scottish manager, who also led the club to relegation from the Premier League last season.

The report also claims that Gary Rowett and Mark Warburton are in contention for the job, as Norwich think carefully about who should replace Neil.

Norwich could be in for a busy summer if they fail to mount a promotion push in the final ten matches of the season and need a good manager to steady the ship.
