Managers who could replace Alex Neil as Norwich boss

Norwich City have officially sacked Alex Neil as manager of the club following a poor run of form.

The Norwich boss has been sacked under 24 hours before their Championship clash with Blackburn at 3pm on Saturday.

Neil’s assistant manager Alan Irvine has been giving temporary charge of the club until a permanent appointment can be made.

This comes at a time when Norwich sit 8th in the Championship table, nine points off the play-offs with ten matches to go.

Norwich have won just one of their last four matches and have only picked up 26 points from their last 23 Championship outings.

Their away form had a major impact on that, with Norwich only recording four away wins all season under Neil.

Although, it is worth noting Neil is still the man who took Norwich to the Premier League in the 2014/15 season, before leading them to relegation the following season.

Here are some managers who could replace him at Carrow Road…
