Norwich City winger Yanic Wildschut has spoken of his disappointment following a 1-1 draw with Bristol City.
The Dutchman felt Norwich should have gone on to win the game after he scored his first goal for the club in the first-half.
The Canaries were under the cosh for the final ten minutes but were able to hold out for a 1-1 draw against the side who sit in the bottom three of the Championship.
It was a game bereft of quality as neither side were able to cover themselves in glory as the match was engulfed in long-ball tactics and scrappy Championship play.
However, it was a moment of magic from Wildschut that opened the scoring. The winger picked the ball up on the left before cutting inside a firing a strike into the bottom corner from 22-yards out.

But Norwich were unable to hold on as a goal from Bailey Wright with 12 minutes to go secured a point for the home side when he fired the ball in after a pinball in the six-yard box.
Speaking to Norwich’s website after the game. Wildschut said this:
I needed some time to adapt to a different style so didn’t really show what I had the first couple of games.
I still feel I can do better but at least I got a goal, which was important for the team. We’re disappointed we didn’t get the win.
In the first half we had some good chances and should have scored more goals. With a bit of luck we should have stopped the goal but we blame ourselves for not scoring more.
It was a real Championship game and you have to do the hard work. We have to go onto Saturday now which is a big game for us, so hopefully we can win.
