Brentford are eyeing a move for Norwich City’s Sergi Canos, according to the Eastern Daily Press.
The young Spaniard has failed to make a serious impression on the Norwich side since making a permanent move from Liverpool last summer and Brentford could be his route to more regular football.
Canos spent some time on loan with Brentford last season where he scored seven goals in his 38 league appearances.
With Alex Neil keen to add reinforcements to his squad, he’s recently stated the club are open to offers for any of his players.

Brentford are expected to lose star striker Scott Hogan to Premier League side West Ham and, should that deal happen, Canos could be the club’s target to replace the forward.
Bees manager Dean Smith worked with Canos whilst he was on loan there last season, so knows all about the 19-year-old and what he can offer.
Norwich currently sit 10th in the Championship, just five points off the play-off places.
Freeing up cash to spend by selling fringe players could be a good January strategy for the Canaries, as they look to improve in the second half of the season.
