Burnley midfielder Jeff Hendrick says he would love to play alongside Norwich’s Robbie Brady again this season.
Hendrick, who was speaking to the Lancashire Telegraph, admits he would love to see his international team-mate join in him the Premier League.
The Burnley midfielder said:
We played at every age group up with Ireland, we roomed together as well.
We enjoy each other’s company, the decision is his at the end of the day but I’d love to have him here.
He’s a great player and can play in a few positions. He works hard and has quality on the ball.

Burnley have been linked with a £13 million move for the versatile defender, who looks likely to leave Norwich during the January window.
Hendrick revealed that the two have a great history together, having known each other since they were young.
I text him a lot and talk to him, we grew up together, I’ve known him since I was seven, so we have a lot of different conversations, for me personally it would be brilliant to have another friend here, I think he’d help the squad as well, he’s a great player.
At the end of the day, the decision is his, hopefully he sees this and sees how much I want him to come here.
Brady has been at Norwich since 2015 having joined from Hull. A move away from Carrow Road would see the club make a healthy profit on the £7 million they paid the now Premier League side.
The 25-year-old has been in and out of the City side this season in the Championship, scoring three goals along the way.
Brady has been linked with a host of clubs including Leicester and Aston Villa.
