Brentford are looking to sign Norwich winger Sergi Canos on loan for the remainder of the season, according to WestLondonSport.
Canos was on loan at Brentford from Liverpool last season, and won the hearts of many fans during his time there. During his loan spell, Canos made 39 appearances and scored seven goals along with setting up five for his teammates.
Canos was Norwich’s first signing of the summer but has failed to make an impact for the Canaries, featuring mainly for the U23 side. He is yet to start for the senior side in the league and has only six senior appearances to his name. Jacob Murphy’s impressive form has meant that the right-wing position has been difficult to obtain, and Steven Naismith has been the first choice when a replacement is required.
Brentford currently sit 14th in the Championship, four points below Norwich in 9th. They held the Canaries to a 0-0 draw on New Year’s Eve.
