Norwich City maintained their place in 12th in the Championship tonight after holding Brentford to a 0-0 draw at Griffin Park.
It was a closely fought game between the two sides, with little quality shining through at all during the match.
Norwich had the better of the chances but Cameron Jerome missed a plethora of glorious opportunities to ruin any chance of the away side picking up all three points.
There was a moment for the referee to forget as well as Norwich winger Robbie Brady was bizarrely sent off for a challenge on Ryan Woods late in the second half.
Brady and Woods both went for a sliding 50/50 tackle – both catching each other – and the referee decided to send Brady off.
However, the red card should be no excuse – it was a poor performance from City, who were lucky that Brentford were even worse on the day. A draw was perhaps fair.
