Norwich City midfielder Louis Thompson has signed a new contract with the club.
The midfielder has signed a new two-and-a-half year deal with the club – extending his contract until the summer of 2019. Norwich then have the option to add an extra year – essentially meaning Thompson’s deal runs out in 2020.
This comes as great news after a promising start to the season from the young midfielder.
Thompson is currently out injured but was impressing in the Championship for Alex Neil’s side before he was sidelined.

Norwich have now moved quickly to secure his future at the club – as Thompson joins Jacob Murphy and Martin Olsson in extending his deal.
Olsson and Murphy have both signed long-term contracts in the past few weeks.
These new contracts have been the only positives for Norwich in recent months – with the club currently on a run of seven defeats out of eight.
