Norwich manager Alex Neil has hinted that James Maddison could return to Norwich in January.
Maddison has been on loan at Scottish side Aberdeen, and made 15 appearances in his time there and helped to take them to the final of the Betfred Cup.
Speaking to the Daily Record, Neil said:
I have no doubt Aberdeen would want to extend the loan. I’ll decide in January what will happen. We might need him here.

Maddison has impressed greatly during his time north of the border and won the SPL Goal of the Month for September after scoring a stunning free-kick against Rangers.

Maddison has made only one senior appearance for Norwich, playing in their 6-1 EFL Cup win over his former side Coventry City. In that game, Maddison got two assists and caught the eye of many of the Norwich faithful. He again impressed when featuring in Norwich’s 6-1 win over Peterborough in the EFL Trophy, getting another two assists and scoring once.
