Norwich to face Southampton in FA Cup

Norwich have been drawn against Southampton in the FA Cup. The match will be played at Carrow Road.

Southampton currently sit 12th in the Premier League, with new manager Claude Puel having a tough time in Hampshire. Puel was bought in to replace Ronald Koeman, who left for Everton in the summer.

When the two sides last met, Norwich came out 1-0 winners at Carrow Road, an Alex Tettey goal being the decisive moment after Victor Wanyama was sent off earlier in the match.

Norwich faced Manchester City at home in the third round last year and were defeated 3-0, with the Mancunians being the better side by far on the day. A Stan James promo code gets you good odds for a Norwich win.

With the Canaries having already had a good run in the League Cup, where they defeated Premier League opposition with ease, could another cup run be on the cards?

However, if all else fails, we’ve always got the Checkatrade Trophy….
