The majority of Norwich fans are more concerned about other clubs swooping in and taking our players that often expiring contracts are forgotten about. We were reminded of the Bosman rule last year when Gary O’Neil, one of our better performers at times last season, was snatched up by Bristol City without the Canaries receiving a penny. Norwich have benefited from it themselves, though, with the likes of Bradley Johnson and Youssouf Mulumbu being signed as free agents.
