Norwich City lost their first game of the season today as they were hammered 3-0 by Birmingham at St Andrews today.
The result ended Norwich’s unbeaten start to the season, and also ends Neil’s unbeaten record away in the Championship.
It was a dreadful performance from Norwich, being nice, and Birmingham were fully deserving of the win.
Birmingham took the lead after Steven Whittaker was easily outdone, with David Davis heading home a cross.
Alex Neil failed to make any changes at half-time, with Whittaker then giving away a penalty – resulting in Clayton Donaldson firing home the second for Birmingham.
Donaldson then added a third for Birmingham, with Alex Tettey playing a poor backpass straight through to the forward who duly converted past Michael McGovern.
It was a very disappointing performance from Norwich, with a lot of shockers from Norwich players. So, here are our player ratings from today’s match…
