According to Anderlecht Online, Norwich City are interested in signing Anderlecht striker Idrissa Sylla.
The report says that Norwich, Newcastle and Wolves are interested in the striker, with Wolves currently seen as the favourites for his signature.
Sylla is set to leave Anderlecht before next week’s deadline, with a move to the Championship now looking increasingly likely for the centre forward.
It is no secret that Norwich are on the lookout for a new number nine, although a deal to sign Nelson Oliveira has reportedly been agreed and could be announced in the coming days.
Sylla hasn’t got a great goalscoring record. He scored just seven goals in 30 Belgian league matches last season. Although, has started this season in fine form by scoring twice in his first three matches.
This one looks unlikely for Norwich at present, with Wolves the favourites, but that could change if the Canaries decide to up their interest.
