Norwich City kick off their EFL Cup campaign tonight with a clash at Carrow Road against League One side Coventry.
Norwich’s last game only came on Sunday, which means that a lot of changes will need to be made by Alex Neil.
Alex Neil’s side picked up a point away at Ipswich on Sunday in the Championship, drawing 1-1 at Portman Road.
Norwich were the team to strike first. Jonny Howson teed up Cameron Jerome on the edge of the box to calmly stroke the ball into the corner of the net, giving Norwich the lead.
However, Ipswich struck right on the stroke of half-time. Jonas Knudsen fired a rasping strike into the bottom corner from the edge of the box after some poor marking from Howson.
There were few chances in the second half, but Steven Whittaker missed two good opportunities, hitting the post with one.
