Norwich City moved onto eight points today with a 1-1 draw against Ipswich Town at Portman Road.
It was the first East Anglian derby of the season, with the sides having to share the spoils at full-time.
Norwich were the team to strike first. Jonny Howson teed up Cameron Jerome on the edge of the box to calmly stroke the ball into the corner of the net, giving Norwich the lead.
However, Ipswich struck right on the stroke of half-time. Jonas Knudsen fired a rasping strike into the bottom corner from the edge of the box after some poor marking from Howson.
There were few chances in the second half, but Steven Whittaker missed two good opportunities, hitting the post with one.
It was Norwich’s worst performance of the season so far for me, the ratings are not going to be the highest…
