The Canaries travel to face Ipswich on Sunday in the first East Anglian derby match of the season – the first since the second leg of the play-off semi-finals last year.
Norwich beat Ipswich 4-2 over the two legs, culminating in a play-off final against Middlesbrough for Neil and his team. Norwich ended the season with promotion to the Premier League, but were relegated last season, and now face Ipswich yet again.
Ipswich have had no luck in this fixture for a long time, with their last win coming in 2009. Norwich have held the bragging rights for many years now, and Neil wants that to continue on Sunday.
The excitement is already beginning to bubble over in East Anglia, in what is a highly anticipated fixture. Both sets of fans have begun to rib each other, with blows coming on either side, but it’s what happens on the pitch that counts.
Both sides have some very good players, so here is a combined XI from the two sides… (4-3-1-2 formation)
