Norwich City manager Alex Neil has handed out the latest Norwich squad news ahead of tomorrow’s clash with Sheffield Wednesday.
Neil, first of all, has confirmed that both Russell Martin and Robbie Brady are back in contention. The duo missed last week’s clash with Blackburn due to injury, but played in a behind-closed-doors friendly against Colchester.
Speaking to Norwich’s website, Neil said this:
They’re back in contention, even though it was only 60 minutes that both of them got so I wouldn’t say that they’re firing fit, but they’re certainly ready if I need them.
Brady and Martin are both now fighting for a starting spot, but are not 100% match fit yet and are likely to start on the bench.

Neil has also revealed some bad news to Norwich fans. Jacob Murphy, who starred in last week’s win, is a doubt for the match. The academy product scored a fantastic goal from range on his first league start, but could now miss tomorrow’s game.
Unfortunately Jacob’s got a little issue so that will be one that we need to monitor, a late decision will be made on that.
Martin Olsson is also a doubt for the match after going off injured last week against Blackburn. Graham Dorrans will miss the match again with injury. Matt Jarvis is out for the foreseeable future.
