Norwich City fans were celebrating the signing of Ross McCormack just a matter of days ago, thinking that their side was about to land the forward.
Norwich were thought to have agreed a £12m deal with Fulham and the signing was expected to have been completed by Norwich before this weekend.
However, Aston Villa have now swooped in and agreed a £14m deal with Fulham for McCormack and the striker is now on his way to Birmingham to have a medical with the Midlands side.
Aston Villa are expected to announce the signing of McCormack today, which has angered a lot of Norwich fans.
Norwich have been the favourites for McCormack for the last two months, and had two bids rejected for the forward.
