Norwich City beat Coventry City last night in their penultimate pre-season friendly before the start of the season.
It was Norwich’s first pre-season match at Carrow Road for the summer, before they face Hannover on Saturday in their last warm-up match.
Norwich beat Coventry 3-0, with goals from Wes Hoolahan, Josh Murphy and Jacob Murphy.
Wes Hoolahan opened the scoring when he fired the ball into the far corner from the edge of the box after the ball was well won back by Graham Dorrans in midfield.
Josh Murphy then doubled the lead in the second half just minutes after coming off the bench. His brother, Jacob, cut the ball back to him inside the box and Josh calmly brought it under control and curled it into the back of the net.
Jacob Murphy then rounded off the scoring. James Maddison played a delightful chipped ball through to him and the winger tapped it past the ‘keeper to make it three.
So, here are five things I feel we learned from the match…
