It was a drag performance to say the least from Norwich yesterday.
A disappointing 1-0 defeat away at Crystal Palace, with good football nowhere in sight for either team at any point during the match.
Aside from Jason Puncheon’s goal, there were two main talking points for Norwich; Timm Klose’s injury and Patrick Bamford’s performance.
Bamford had a very poor loan spell at Palace earlier in the season and there was a lot of talk about his return to Selhurst Park yesterday in the build-up.
Many Norwich fans were hoping that he would be able to prove a point to his former club and come back to haunt them. However, it was not to be. Things just didn’t go Bamford’s way and he has been on the wrong end of mass criticism from Norwich fans.
Twitter exploded with hatred for Bamford, with a lot of Norwich ‘fans’ jumping on the Palace bandwagon for Bamford abuse…
