Northern Ireland striker Kyle Lafferty appears to be staying at Norwich City, despite months of speculation concerning his future in East Anglia, according to the Belfast Telegraph.
The 28-year old has only played 19 minutes in this season’s Premier League, despite a minority of fans clamouring for his return to the starting lineup on a weekly basis. The Northern Irishman also loaned out to Turkey this time last year, having only scored once in Yellow and Green.
Lafferty had been touted for a move away from Carrow Road in January, with Alex Neil only willing to let to forward leave on a permanent deal. Most recently, though, Lafferty was linked with Championship strugglers Leeds United as part of an Emergency loan move.

However, Leeds boss Steve Evans seemed to quash those rumours by suggesting that the Euro 2016 hopeful did not fit the bill.
We are working hard to strengthen the squad, but it must be with a plan to be going forward with us beyond an eight or nine week period.
Not only that but Evans even categorically denied that his team would be harboring players who were simply using the club in order to catch the eye of their respective International managers before the European Championships in the summer.
We can’t be a club that is used to get players fit for the Euros. We need to be a club that when we add to the squad, it is a player that will be part of the plan next season.
