Five things we learnt as Spurs dominate Norwich

Norwich slipped ever closer to the relegation zone on Tuesday night as they were subject to a 3-0 demolition at the hands of Tottenham, which was a repeat of the scoreline in the reverse fixture at the Lane on Boxing Day.

Like in December, Spurs were dominant in all areas of the pitch and most importantly were nothing short of lethal in front of goal. Alex Neil’s side struggled to even compete, and by the time they started to look interested in the second half the game was already out of reach.

In reality, as a contest the game never even got started. It took less than two minutes for Dele Alli to put the Londoners ahead, and were in cruise control for the rest of the game.

There were some positives for the Canaries, but it’s worrying times for the Norfolk club who have now lost five games on the bounce.
