Norwich edged further away from the relegation zone by winning 2-0 in a must-win game against strugglers Aston Villa at Carrow Road today.
It was Dieumerci Mbokani’s 87th-minute header, which sealed City’s fifth league win of the season, with Jonny Howson on hand to help a header into the goal, which skimmed off the head of the striker early in the first half.
City host Southampton on Saturday, with Alex Neil hoping his side can collect another three points against the south coast side alongside a performance worthy in the top flight.
