Norwich City striker Cameron Jerome has said that he was not surprised following the club’s fantastic win at Old Trafford yesterday.
The Canaries’ last few visits to The Theatre Of Dreams have ended in 4-0 drubbings at the hands of the Red Devils but not this time. Goals from Cameron Jerome and Alexander Tettey sealed a memorable win for Alex Neil’s men that lifts them back out of the relegation zone after being in the bottom three for less than a week.
Alex Tettey’s toe-poked finish will never be as iconic as Anthony Pilkington’s brilliant header at Carrow Road the last time Norwich beat United, but it will be memorable none the less.

Jerome opened the scoring when he capitalised on some slack United defending to score, with the aid of some poor goalkeeping from David De Gea who will feel he should have saved it.
The result will have surprised many in the footballing community; not Cameron Jerome though. He has said it was deserved given Norwich’s performances this season.
Obviously for most people it’ll come as a shock but we’ve had the belief all season, we’ve had the determination and good performances away at some of the bigger sides.
We’ve just been a little bit short of a good result but everything we’ve worked on in the last couple of weeks has come off today and obviously it’s a magnificent result for us. But we’ve got to push on now and build on this over the busy Christmas period.
