Kyle Lafferty is still a target for Leeds boss Steve Evans, even after being rebuffed by Alex Neil before the emergency loan deadline, according to the Belfast Telegraph.
Neil spoke openly about the fact that no players would move before the January window, and rejected Leeds’ advances for the Northern Irish striker.
However, Neil is supposedly open to the 28-year-old moving to another club in January, with Lafferty only playing 13 minutes of first team football so far this season.

Lafferty has been limited to only cup appearances and games for the Under 21 side, where he scored against Manchester United and played as they thrashed Southampton 7-2 on Monday night.
The striker is desperate for first team football, especially after Northern Ireland qualified for Euro 2016 in France next summer. Lafferty was a major factor in their qualification, scoring 7 goals as Northern Ireland won their group.
A move to Elland Road would certainly give Lafferty the vital playing time he needs, but it is yet to be seen if Neil would let him go.
