Norwich City forward Lewis Grabban earned his side a valuable point at home to Arsenal at the weekend, and he is hoping to earn himself a regular place in Alex Neil’s side after a frustrating season.
The 27-year-old was disciplined by the club back in August after he went AWOL after being named as a substitute for the Capital One Cup tie with his former club Rotherham.
Since then, he has hardly featured in any matchday squads, but against Arsenal he was handed his first start since the opening day of the season, and he repaid his manager’s faith in him.

Speaking to the official Norwich City website, Grabban said that he has no problem with Neil and that he hopes to keep his place in the first team, and scoring goals is the best way to ensure he can do just that.
The manager has been fine so I’ve just been working hard to get back into the team. Hopefully I can now move forward and the team can look forward to the next game. Every player wants to stay the team and scoring gives me a bigger chance to do that.
The striker also spoke about the game against Arsene Wenger’s men and said that his side arguably did enough to win the game, but that they are also happy to take a point from a difficult fixture.
We had some good chances so maybe could have got the three points. Having said that, a point against Arsenal is a good result for us. We’ll look to build on this now and do well for the rest of the season.
