Alex Neil has made the assurance that no players, including Kyle Lafferty, will be departing the club on loan.
Speaking to the media ahead of Saturday’s game with Chelsea, Neil has confirmed that no players will leave Carrow Road on loan until the January transfer window.
Nobody else will be leaving on loan or otherwise until January, and then we can assess the situation.
This puts to bed the rumours that have been circling recently that Kyle Lafferty and Lewis Grabban could be departing for Championship side Leeds United on a temporary basis.
Neil has dismissed any calls that his squad is carrying dead weight, with players such as Lafferty seeing limited first team action.
We’ve got a lot of games coming up that are important. I’m happy with the size of squad I’ve got at the moment
Lafferty is yet to make a league start this season, however, in the cup against West Brom, he got on the scoresheet once and was a defining factor in Pocognoli putting the ball into his own net for the final goal of the night.
His international form has been incredible, being level on goals in Euro 2016 qualifying with the likes of Gareth Bale and Wayne Rooney.
