Norwich manager Alex Neil has spoken about not dwelling on Chelsea’s indifferent form this season and just to get on with the game as any other.
Chelsea come into the game on just 12 points from their opening 12 games; below Norwich in the table. It has been a drastic turn around in form since last season when Chelsea stormed the league, and took the Premier League title.
Losses to teams such as Southampton and Stoke may give Norwich hope that they can go and beat Chelsea at Stamford Bridge tomorrow afternoon. They will need to show good defensive ability if they are to get anything out of the game and from the matches against Swansea and Manchester City; Neil has shown he can organise the team well in a defensive mentality.

However, Neil has said not to fixate on Chelsea’s bad form and that they need to focus on themselves and trying to get as far away from the relegation zone as possible.
It was important we got back in touch with the clubs above us and created a little gap to the ones below us because we have some big games coming up.
The fact we hadn’t won for four or five makes each one bigger but it doesn’t pile any more pressure on me or my team. I don’t think confidence was an issue. We performed really well away to arguably the best side in the country at Manchester City. You just have to make sure you are putting points on the board.
I said this when I first came in that I won’t look at games in batches or people saying we have to pick up two points per game or get so many points from a group of fixtures; that is nonsense. Every game is big and now it’s Chelsea and that is our most important one.
