Alex Neil’s biggest signing as Norwich City manager to date has been Robbie Brady. The little Irishman (not Wes) was signed in the summer from Championship side Hull for £7m (Norwich’s second most expensive player of all time) and has proved himself to be a bargain.
The last time Norwich went out and spent tons of money on one player it didn’t go down to well, Ricky Van Wolfswinkel, need I say more? I don’t. Yet, Robbie Brady has, for me, been our player of the season so far without a doubt. Playing at either left-back or left-wing, he has been immense.
Norwich have lacked a set-piece taker since the sale of Robert Snodgrass and Brady has taken to that role superbly. Although his corners and free kicks have not actually registered an official assist, a few of his deliveries have led to goals.

Alex Neil was talking about Brady’s impact at Norwich and said this:
He is top quality.
Robbie has all the attributes you need to be a top player, speed, quality on the ball, a real desire and competitiveness about him.
I think he has been a terrific signing for us. He is certainly one of our stand out players to this stage of the season. There are probably two or three lads who are in that bracket and he is certainly one.
