Norwich City manager Alex Neil has claimed that English forward Cameron Jerome has improved during his time at Norwich and still has plenty to offer the Canaries going forward.
The former Birmingham and Stoke centre forward scored his second Premier League goal of the season against Manchester City last week, however he has been criticized by a lot fans this season for his lackluster finishing displays.
Yet, that is in stark contrast to his form last season where everything he hit seemed to go in. Jerome scored 21 goals in all competitions, the most goals a Norwich player has scored in a season since Grant Holt last time Norwich were in the Championship over four years ago.

However, this season he has managed just two goals in the Premier League and missed a lot of good chances. His hold up play and persistent hassling of defenders has been a constant in his game however, and Alex Neil has said that he has improved a lot since he arrived.
I don’t think Cameron lacks confidence. That hasn’t been the case, but strikers measure themselves in goals so it was nice for him to score.
He has been working very hard for the team and I thought he put in some shift against Manchester City and managed to get his goal. I would go as far to say I think his game has improved in the time I have been here, in terms of his hold up play and his work for the team. Dieumerci is over the bug but the only thing I would say is he has probably done one day’s training. Although he is fully recovered, he has not done as much as we would have hoped.
So, with Jerome looking very likely to start today, is he good enough for the Premier League?
