Swansea will really want to bounce back after a disappointing run of games for Gary Monk’s men. With only one win in their last 5 games. Ahead of the weekend’s fixture, we asked Declan Terry of Read Swansea to help us take a look of the Swans.
How do you think the game will pan out?
I think it’ll be quite an even game to be honest. I don’t think we’ll dominate in possession as we haven’t really done that in any game since August. Both defences have been a bit leaky of late, so there could be a few goals. However, with Norwich’s defence weakened by the suspension of Russell Martin, I’m hoping that Jefferson Montero, Andre Ayew and Bafetimbi Gomis can take advantage of that.
Who do you consider Swansea’s main threat?
It’s got to be Andre Ayew. He’s undoubtedly been our star man this season, netting five goals and getting a couple of assists from the right-wing. He’s the type of player to spark something out of nowhere, and Norwich will definitely struggle to keep tabs on him. He really is a top-class player.

How do you think the Swans will line up?
I think Garry Monk will go with the same starting XI as he has done in recent weeks. That being – Fabianski; Naughton, Fernandez, Williams, Taylor; Ki, Shelvey, Sigurdsson; Ayew, Montero, Gomis.
Who do you fear the most in Norwich’s team?
Probably Nathan Redmond. I’m a big fan of the flying winger and he will cause Neil Taylor troubles. He reminds me a bit of our Jefferson Montero in how he’s so rapid, and even unplayable on his day. I just wished we signed him when you went down in 2014!

Do Swansea have any hidden gems we should fear?
I feel as if Kyle Naughton is over-looked by many people. He’s solid defensively and very wise when attacking. He never seems to do a thing wrong, which is great for a right-back. He’s had the likes of Angel Di Maria, Alexis Sanchez, Raheem Sterling and Eden Hazard in his pocket when we’ve played their respective teams in the past. I do really believe that he’s one of the best right-backs in the league at the moment, and he’s now a crucial asset to Swansea.

Score predictions?
I’m going for a 1-1 draw. I’ll go with Diemurci Mbokani to score from a corner – as we cant defend from corners! And then I think Jonjo Shelvey will score his first of the season to gain us a point at Carrow Road.
Thanks for Declan for taking the time to speak to us.
