Jacob Murphy feels that his loan spell at Coventry City has improved his game.
The Youngster was speaking to the press ahead of Coventry’s clash against Peterborough United on Saturday.
Murphy joined the Sky Blues on loan in August for the season and has appeared in all but two of Coventry’s league games this season, scoring once. He believes that his stay so far in the Midlands has really improved his game.
I think my game has improved here. It’s a well run club and the ambition is there.
I’m really enjoying it so far. I’m learning plenty off Tony Mowbray and the coaching staff.
Coventry is Murphy’s 5th loan spell since he lifted the FA Youth Cup with his brother Josh. He spent last season on loan at Blackpool, Scunthorpe and Colchester, making the most impact at his final club, scoring four times in eleven matches and helped keep the U’s up.

Jacob has also been impressed with the club’s experienced coaching staff and especially the impact of new loan signing and ex-England international Joe Cole, who Murphy say’s has brought a wealth of knowledge to the club.
I’m trying to round my game out and the coaching staff have helped me hugely in my time here.
Training with Joe Cole is great, he’s down to earth and the experience he has is crucial for us to learn.
