Norwich manager Alex Neil sat down with the media on Friday to talk about the upcoming encounter against Leicester City at Carrow Road.
With two away draws against Liverpool and West Ham in their last two games, Alex Neil was asked about how he felt about the performances of the club so far:
We’re pleased with our performances. We’ve competed well and we’ve shown that we’ve got goals in the team.
Despite feeling like the team has played well so far, he doesn’t feel like they have always got their rewards:
For how well we’ve played, we’re probably three points short of where we should be. We’re comfortable at this level.
When asked about the Foxes, Neil had this to say:
Leicester are a good team who are strong on the counter. They are good at what they do but we need to impose our style.
Right back Steven Whittaker was the player that answered questions from the media today, and he spoke on team spirit:
We’re all pretty positive. We’re sitting on a good number of points, we just need to keep adding to it.
The Scottish defender went on to say this about the visitors:
Leicester have had a great start and it will be a difficult game, but we’ll be looking for three points.
Finally, he talked about how Alex Neil has put faith in him, and all indications are that he’ll start again on Saturday.
The manager has stuck with me and I feel like I’ve been doing ok. I’m glad I’m back in the team after Southampton.

Alex Neil also confirmed in this press conference that there are no new injury concerns ahead of this match.
