20th November 2004, Norwich City 2-1 Southampton, Carrow Road

Norwich managed to get their first Premier League win of the season at the 14th time of asking through two Damian Francis goals. Southampton originally took the lead through a James Beattie volley from Rory Delap’s cross. Francis then levelled the match, firing a strike off the post and in. Francis would prove to be the hero, heading in Craig Fleming’s knockdown.
17th December 2005, Norwich City 3-1 Southampton, Carrow Road
A Dean Ashton hat-trick gave Norwich a resounding win at Carrow Road. Southampton, manager-less at the time, started brightly and took the lead early on thanks to Djamel Belmadi. Ashton then levelled the match through a header before Andy Hughes was brought off with a serious injury. Dean Ashton then nodded in a second before adding a third through a fine volley.
18th August 2007 Norwich City 2-1 Southampton, Carrow Road

Norwich won in a tightly contested match thanks to a Jamie Cureton brace. Kenwyne Jones put the Saints ahead after David Marshall couldn’t control former Canary Youssef Safri’s corner. Norwich battled hard and Cureton equalised against the run of play through a drilled shot into the top corner. Cureton then slotted in the winner after controlling a cross.
31st August 2013 Norwich 1-0 Southampton, Carrow Road

A solitary Nathan Redmond goal gave Norwich their first Premier League win of the 2013/14 season. Redmond cut in from the left wing, created some space and then fired past Saints ‘keeper Artur Boruc to give Norwich the victory. Southampton felt aggrieved after Adam Lallana was denied a penalty when the ball seemingly hit Bradley Johnson’s arm. However, Southampton could not break down a resolute Norwich defence, with record signing Dani Osvaldo unable to break the deadlock on his debut.
15th March 2014, Southampton 4-2 Norwich, St Mary’s Stadium

In an action-packed game at St Mary’s, Southampton ran out 4-2 winners after a late fightback from Norwich. The hosts took an early lead through Morgan Schneiderlin, who cooly slotted home before Ricky Lambert added to the Saints’ lead in the 57th minute. Jay Rodriguez scored the third as Southampton looked to be heading to an easy win, however, Norwich scored two late goals after two very lackadaisical defensive errors. The Canaries looked for an equaliser, pressing high, committing men forward. But disaster struck as Alex Tettey tried to pump the ball back towards the Southampton box, fatally slipping on half-way. Sam Gallagher raced on to seal the win for the Saints.
