The new third kit has had a big impact. But that’s just what Steve Balmer-Walters, Head of Retail at the Club, wanted.
“The hoops represent connecting with the community, and the shirt is all about having fun in the community.” Crikey, it sounds like a GCSE English class. When I first saw the kit I didn’t exactly think ‘community values’. It’s more the garish, non-sensical colour scheme that hits you. Anyway, you can see the full TCC reaction HERE.
He goes on to claim that the kit is like marmite – you either love it or you hate it.
Well, Mr Balmer-Walters, we’re going to put your theory to the test.
