Norwich On The Brink Of Signing Brady

New developments in the Robbie Brady transfer saga have occurred, as Norwich put in an offer at a figure between £6-7m. Reports say that Hull boss Steve Bruce has accepted the bid.

After more rumors swirled saying the Republic of Ireland international rejected a new contract, it appears that Hull cannot get much more out of Brady. They will cash in on him now with that figure to help improve their squad for the upcoming season in the Championship.

The player seems keen to finally get to Carrow Road after numerous Norwich bids were rejected by Bruce earlier in the month. He was also not in the squad for Hull’s friendly Friday night, but the club told the press he was sick. That leads me to believe that this deal will go through in the next couple of days.

Hopefully it does, and we will see Brady wearing yellow and green for the upcoming campaign. After five bids, the Tigers finally accepted it.

Are you happy that this saga is over? Do you think that he will be a good signing, or a Ricky Van Wolfswinkel-like flop? (Who’s to say his confidence isn’t back now?!) I think Brady is a good player to have in the squad, as more Premier League quality is always needed. It also shows that we are finally closing the deal on the transfers after lots of rumors have bogged down this summer. Alex Neil is getting down to business, with hopefully more players to follow behind Brady.
