The Norwich and Hamilton ties continued Monday afternoon.
City striker Carlton Morris has joined manager Alex Neil’s former club Hamilton on a season long loan. The 19-year-old striker, who has previously had loan spells with Oxford and York, is the first youngster to join Hamilton, after Alex Neil confirmed last season that he would be open to offering young players loan opportunities with ‘The Accies’.
Morris has made one senior appearance for Norwich, coming on as a substitute in a 1-0 defeat to Wigan on 4 March. He signed his first professional contract in December 2013, having been part of the FA Youth Cup winning side earlier in that season. It will be interesting to see if this loan spell will offer Morris the experience to break into the first team and how many other youth players follow him to Hamilton.
