City have announced this afternoon that Gorleston-born goalkeeper Remi Matthews has signed a new two-year deal at the club.
The 21 year-old, who recently joined League 2 side Burton Albion on loan, said:
“I’ve been at Norwich a long time and have another year to impress now. In the long run, I want to play here, although I’m focusing on my loan move and hopefully getting some games under my belt first.”
Matthews, who joined City’s academy system at the age of 10, will stay at the club until at least the summer of 2017.
