Jovon Makama at Norwich City
Jovon Makama provides a key attacking option for Norwich City. He transitioned from a winger role under previous management into a central striker. Makama proved his worth by scoring 13 goals in 31 matches across all competitions. Currently, he works on his fitness after a five-month absence due to a serious foot injury. He returned to action during a pre-season friendly against Colchester United. Moreover, the coaching staff expects him to gain further minutes against St Gallen to build match sharpness.
Career Before Norwich City
The club scouted Makama from the lower leagues before bringing him to Carrow Road. His development highlights the value of investing in young talent from outside the top flight. Indeed, the Canaries hit the jackpot with this signing. Other clubs, such as Bristol City, pursued similar targets like Lorent Tolaj, but Makama remains a unique success story for the recruitment department.

Finally, the squad relies on internal options for the upcoming campaign. Makama competes with Ante Crnac and Mohamed Touré for the centre-forward spot. While he remains unavailable for immediate selection, his return to team sessions marks a positive step for the forward line.
Major Honours Won
